I've decided to join in The Nester's 2012 Home Goals Party! I've got a couple things I REALLY want to get done this year and what better motivation than to post about it and hopefully look back next year and have all of these checked off my list! Since we purchased the home back in 2005 we've been updating a little here and there each year. So even though I have a TON of things I want to do to the house this year. I narrowed it down to just 4 because two of them are complete rooms!
NUMERO UNO
Get a new back door! That towel is there too soak up water when it rains and
to minimize the cold air coming in. The door is super swollen from the bottom and
we REALLY need a new one!
NUMERO DOS
This is our master bedroom, well a wall of it! I already have a mirror, that I bought at a garage sale this summer for $5 and I spray painted it white but the paint came off! bummer! So the lady at home depot said I had to use an oil based primer which we bought and have in the garage. I've just been too lazy busy to finish the mirror so I hope to get it done this year & finish the master bedroom!
NUMERO TRES & CUATRO
These two go hand in hand because we plan to FINALLY have the kids get their own room! You must all think I am crazy cause I JUST finished our guest/craft room not too long ago but it REALLY doesn't get much use! So we plan on switching my son to the now guest room and the current kids room will become my daughter's new room! Both of these are my top priority for this year so stay tuned to see how they both turn out! BTW the kids room looks a bit messy, it's not always like that! Ok most of the time it is... but the bed is moved because of a little "incident" we had yesterday which I plan to vent out blog about tomorrow!
I really love this idea! What a great way to prioritize what you'd like to do. And oh no, what happened yesterday?? Guess I will have to wait to hear about it.
This is such a a great idea! I love how you took pictures of what you want to do. Especially because that is motivation to do it! I need to take a tip from you ! :)
