Organizing with Birchbox

If you've been reading my blog for a while you know I subscribed to Birchbox a couple months ago and I've been posting my goodies each month. Well I've been saving those cute little boxes and last month I decided to clean out my bathroom drawers and organize them using the Birchbox boxes...

A Pop of Color

Remember this post where I showed you all my lovely new sign created by my friend Pamela from PB&J Creations? Well I still LOVE the sign VERY much but the plain beige wall just didn't do it justice and it made my little sign look lonely and sad. So for a while now I've been wanting a big letter M (for our last name) but didn't really want to pay more than a dollar! (yes I'm cheap!) . So when I went to Hobby Lobby a couple weeks ago I found this for just $1.99 plus I had a 50% off coupon...

I initially thought about painting it white but we really need more color in our home and so I went through my craft supplies and found a bright blue and went for it...

This is something I wouldn't normally do, I'm a plain and simple kind of gal and a total color-phobe but I've been trying to get more into color little by little from my wardrobe to my home decor. I thought blue would look well with green so I also printed out this print from my etsy shop and put a small gallery wall together! Here is a before and after of my dinning room wall...

What a difference a little color makes huh? Here is a close up...

FREE Pin The Bow On The Hello Kitty Game

Hello Kitty Birthday Party

Here are some pictures from my daughter's birthday party this past weekend. The party theme was Hello Kitty which she LOVES. Like I had mentioned on friday's post we planned an outside party and then I found out that there was a 50% chance of rain for Sunday so I was thinking the party might have to be inside. Well It did end up raining that morning but it lasted about 10mins and then it quickly turned into a beautiful day! We had a great time! Here is my little Princess....

My Princess Turns 3

Today is my daughter's birthday! I can't believe she is three! She is so big!!

We are having a small birthday party for her on Sunday but I'm a bit bummed out because as of right now there's a 50% chance of rain for Sunday. We want to have an outside party in our backyard since our home is quite small but I don't know how that's gonna work out if it rains! Anywho I'm cleaning the house like crazy today and getting stuff ready. I have a couple cute party printables I created and will share sometime next week. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! :)
