My Pregnancy: 34 weeks

I turn 34 weeks tomorrow so I thought I would update with a picture since I haven't done one since I was 27 weeks. My hubby took this one with our new camera today! I can't believe that in just a couple more weeks I will get to meet Baby Levi! As hard as the third trimester is I am trying to enjoy it because even though pregnancy is hard at times I am sure I will miss it. Pregnancy is truly a miracle & such a blessing to be able to experience a human being growing inside of you.

How far along? 34 weeks

Maternity clothes? Yes, nothing else fits! I've also been wearing my husband's t-shirts.

Stretch marks? No stretch marks! 

Sleep: I wish I could get more of it! I have been getting up to pee about 5-10 times a night! No I'm not exaggerating! 

Best moment this week: Finishing my hospital bags & getting my new camera!

Movement: Lots of movement, it's starting to hurt.

Food cravings: The only craving I had this week was Domino's Handmade Pan Pizza.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope not really. 

Gender: Baby Boy

Labor Signs: Minor BH but nothing too bad.

Belly Button in or out? Out

Wedding rings on or off? On

Mood: Tired, Excited, Nervous, Anxious. Lots of moods.

Looking forward to: Finishing the nursery this next week.

All Packed & Ready To Go?

    I finally finished packing this week! I got EVERYTHING on the lists I posted a while back which you can find here.  I am due January 12 so maybe I packed a little early at 34 weeks but I feel good! I don't like leaving things for last minute. The only thing I have to pack are my toiletries but those I will have to leave till last minute since I use em everyday. 

    I'm feeling excited as the day approaches but also a bit nervous. I don't know exactly what I'm nervous about? My first labor was perfect! My water broke just like I had wanted and everything so I though my second would be the same. My second was horrible! I was in pain a whole 24 hours before actually going into labor and I won't even go into details on how that all went because I might scare some of you first time moms. I am hoping this third time will be more like my first but I know every birth is different so I'm not counting on it! Sometimes I feel ready and sometimes I start to freak out. I mean in just a couple weeks I will be a mom of THREE KIDDOS! I am very thankful though because I am sure both of my kiddos will be very helpful with their baby brother. They are VERY excited to meet him! Which makes me happy and even more excited just to see their little faces when they meet their baby brother.

On a different subject! I FINALLY got a nice camera! Which means I need to get going and finish some of the details I haven't done for the nursery. Once It is completely done I will post the reveal! Should be either by the end of next week or the beginning of the next. 

Mexican Style Cheesecake Recipe

I LOVE cheesecake, but not just any cheesecake! I LOVE mexican style cheesecake AKA Pie de Queso. My mom taught me how to make it a LONG time ago and now it's one of my FAVORITE recipes. It's different from regular cheesecake and you will see why when you see the list of ingredients. Here is what you will need to make this.. Actually this recipe makes THREE cheesecakes so if you don't want to gain 10lbs you might want to share a pie or two with your family or friends.

INGREDIENTS: - 6 Eggs - 2 Cream Cheese  - 2 Sweetened Condensed Milk cans (You MUST buy La Lechera) - A box of Marias cookies (you will only use about 2 packets but they're so good, just buy the whole box!) - A couple lime drops - About 2 sticks of melted butter.
First we will create our crust. You will need to crush about 2 packets of Marias cookies ( I usually use the blender for this). You will also need to have your melted butter ready. Once your cookies are crushed you distribute the crushed cookies onto three pie molds. Add melted butter little by little...

until you feel you have enough to create a crust. If you add too much butter just borrow some crushed cookies from your other mold...

With a spoon begin to make your crust by pressing it onto your pie mold.  Once your pie molds are ready you can blend all of the remaining ingredients together (cream cheese, eggs, lecheras & a couple of lime drops). Then distribute your blended ingredients onto all three pie molds..

Bake 25-30mins at 350° Take out of the oven and let cool. Once they are cool, refrigerate for a couple hours and serve cold. You can top your cheesecake with strawberries like I did...

The Nursery Preview

   This past week I started "nesting" or so it seems because all of a sudden one afternoon I went into the nursery and started getting it all organized and ready. It is 80% done. All I need are a couple minor details which I hope to finish by the end of this week so I can post the full reveal next week! I can't wait to show you all! It's just as I imagined! HANA Air Hair Dryer Review

   I haven't had a hair dryer in about 5 years! My last one (which cost about $30) burned out on me and I just never purchased another. I've been wanting to buy one and every time I'm out shopping I forget so I was SO EXCITED to get an e-mail a couple weeks ago for an opportunity to try out and review the HANA air professional hair dryer. I received my hair dryer about two weeks ago along with a ton of goodies...

I seriously felt like it was my birthday when I opened this box up! First of all, this isn't like any of the hair dryers you would buy at like Target or Walmart. This is a professional hair dryer so it is pretty pricey and to be honest with you I would never spend that much on a hair dryer. But is it worth it? Well I think so! My favorite thing about this hair dryer are the settings! It's got 2 fan settings and 3 heat settings which is awesome because some dryers don't have a warm setting. It's either really hot air or cool. I am VERY HAPPY with my new hair dryer! If you use a hair dryer every single day, I would suggest you invest in a nice one like the HANA air! It really is worth the money! You can purchase your HANA air through Missiko. Not only do they have awesome hair dryers they also sell flat irons too!

Favorites Friday 11/9/12

Today's Favorites Friday are my make up favorites! I do not wear a lot of make up because I seriously don't have time for a whole make up routine each morning so here is what I wear, when I wear make up...

1. Concealer: Benefit Erase Paste

If there is one thing I NEED it is this! I have the worst under eye circles. Sure I don't get enough sleep and I could blame it on that but I think my circles are inherited from my dad. So I've tried a couple drug store concealers and I never liked any of them! I walked into ULTA one day and asked someone for help. I told them I was tired of looking tired! LOL So they suggested I try Erase Paste and they tested it on my circles and I fell in love! I've had this little concealer for about 2 years and although it is tiny, a little really does go a long way! It is the priciest make-up I have. I think I spent about $28 for it but it is very worth it!

2. Chapstick: Burt's Bees Pomegranate 

I don't like wearing lipstick or lip gloss! My lips are super dry and they get very cracked in the winter so I constantly have to apply chapstick. I LOVE Burt's Bees, especially the pomegranate lip balm. It smells wonderful and really helps my lips stay soft!

3. Eye Liner: Elf Liquid Liner

This is the best! It is only $1 and it's the best liquid liner I've ever used! I have used liquid liners from Covergirl & Maybeline and they all start cracking and I end up with tiny eyeliner pieces in my eye.  I had given up on liquid liner until I found elf! I thought it would be cheap because of the price! Well I was wrong! I absolutely LOVE this! It's my BFF! Eye liner is one of my favorite things to wear. If I am gonna wear make up, I need me some eye liner!

4. Face Powder: Elf 

Again, this is only $1 and it is AWESOME! I bought this because I needed something to set my concealer. If you don't set it, it can smear and look all greasy so I thought I would try this since I had such a great experience with the eye liner. I am so glad I did! I recommended this to my sister and now she uses this powder as well. 

That's it folks! I don't wear much make up, I like to keep it simple!

Baby Shower

This past Sunday was my baby shower. My mom, sister and my sister's best friend (who is like family) organized it and they did an AWESOME job! We didn't get very many good pictures but here are some for you all to to see...

My Baby Shower Invitations

I'm sorry for being MIA lately! I have A LOT going on this week. My baby shower is this weekend and although I'm not the one planning it, I did design a couple things for it like my baby shower invitations! I also made cupcake flags & a banner which I will post about next week when I have some photos to share. Here are my baby shower invitations and the little "registry info" cards I designed to go with them...
