I went shopping with my super crafty friend Julie at IKEA a couple weeks ago, she was shopping for organizing goodies for her closet, and she saw some rails and hooks which you can use to hang and organize belts and such and then she mentioned how cute it would be to hang little buckets off of them to organize the laundry room. I immediately grabbed a rail, hooks and some buckets and copied off of her idea! ha! I wish Julie had a blog because seriously she has a bunch of GREAT ideas! So as soon as I got home I told my hubby I wanted him to install the little rod for me so I can organize a couple things in the laundry room but instead of organizing things I ended up filling it with flowers to make it a little garden wall and I love it! I realized I have never shown you all our little laundry room except for a little sneak peek when I showed you my cheap laundry room signs in this post. It's nothing Special but I really like it and now with the new little garden wall, I LOVE it!
I bought the
longest rail for the laundry room which was only $2.99 at IKEA and I also bought a
small rail for $1.99 which I plan to use in my closet to organize our belts.
The hooks are $.99 for 10 which is awesome and the little
plant pots were $.99 each. I used the flowers from my spring/summer
front door basket which I just replace with
my new wreath and some clearance flowers from garden ridge.
I love the little "fake" garden wall! Fake plants are the only ones I can keep alive!
I really wish I had a green thumb because I LOVE flowers but I can't seem to keep
them alive! Anyway here is what the laundry room looked like without the garden wall and after with it...
So pretty! Did I mention that my husband installed this for me?
He surprised me! I was taking a nap on a sunday and when I woke
up he had this installed for me! :) I love him!
