DIY Cherry Blossom Branches

I pinned this idea on Pinterest a while back and finally got around to making it!I went to a couple stores looking for branches and didn't find any so when ourbackyard tree died, I took it's branches and used them for this project.That's seeing the glass half full for ya! I turned a dead tree into an opportunity!lo that rhymes!! Anywho here are my tissue paper cherry blossom branches...

I used an empty glass juice jug for my vase! I just love those glass jugs!

I have two of them! I got mine at whole foods, we drank all the juice

cleaned it off and took off the label using nail polish remover and here

it is all cleaned out..

I didn't add a ton of tissue paper flowers because I

didn't want it to over do it, I wanted a more simple look!

I also added a couple white ones...

and here it is on my dresser next to one of 

the prints I have on my shop... 

I love this! It was so easy to make and I didn't buy a single thing!

The jug I already had, the branches I took off the dead tree and

the tissue paper I had as well! All you need is a glue gun and there

is no right or wrong way to roll up your flowers, just play around cutting 

squares or triangles and once you have a good flower shape glue em on!

I love how the pink brings a bit of girliness to our bedroom! :)
