We Are Family

This past weekend we took a family road trip to visit my sister Wendy. She lives about 3hrs away from us so we don't see her as often as we'd like. We had a great time and were able to take a full family photo together which is awesome! I wish Levi were looking at the camera and Sarah weren't holding a biscuit sandwich in a wrapper but it will do.

As I look at this picture I can't help but be thankful and feel truly blessed. If it wasn't for God this picture would be of two people instead of ten. You see my parents were told they wouldn't be able to have kids. Despite what the doctors said seven years of trying, praying and trusting God they had me. It was truly a miracle of God! As you can see my parents now have three daughters, two son in laws and three grandkids. Thank you Lord for my family!

  1. Good for you!!! This kind of photo rarely happens for our family either! I love the little things you mentioned about Levi and Sarah in the photo! You'll smile at those little things in the years ahead!!! :) When I was a little girl, we took a professional family photo of my grandparents, their daughters, spouses and ALL the grandkids! My youngest brother was wailing in the photo (an infant) and Mom was discretely holding his bottle at her side...she'd pulled it out of his mouth just before the photographer was to snap the photo! LOL! Makes me smile looking at that photo!
These days, my problem is getting myself in photos...something I really need to work on!!!

    1. Thanks Melissa!
Yes I agree the "unperfect" photos are the best!
That's too funny about the bottle! I can picture it in my head :)

  2. That is amazing about your parents, looks like you were all meant to be!! What a blessing that you all have each other! Love big family photos, too! :)

I would LOVE to hear from you! :)
