New Kitchen Countertops

We completed another step of our kitchen remodel! Our granite countertops were installed on sunday as well as our under mount sink. We chose New Venetian Gold Light as our new granite countertops and were hesitant at first because the small sample had some very dark spots but I'm glad we took the risk because the outcome is way better than I imagined. Plus I now have a sink to wash dishes, no more washing in the hallway bathtub! Yay! Here is another glimpse of our kitchen remodel process, our new under mount  sink and granite countertops:
Like I mentioned in a previous post I will show the final kitchen reveal once our kitchen is 100% finished which I hope is soon. Our next steps are a tile backsplash, recessed can lighting, new blinds and the last step are the stainless steel appliances. Have you shopped for appliances recently? What brand appliances do you recommend?

  2. In fact, the actual kitchen countertops may be the center of your home. So it is essential that your countertops of one’s kitchen area are useful along with long-lasting.

  3. I agree, I think the kitchen is the center of the home and the countertops should be durable! That is why we chose granite, our old formica countertops were white and would stain easily! I'm very happy with the granite! :)
