Smile

  If this picture doesn't make you smile, then something is wrong with you. (kidding! sort of...) Levi is such a happy boy. Even when he's sick and stuffy he manages to smile. When I'm stressing out and I feel overwhelmed just seeing this baby smile makes it all better...

  I developed an umbilical hernia after having Sarah (4 years ago) but I didn't notice until this last pregnancy. My OB recommended surgery but I had decided to wait it out because that would mean I wouldn't be able to carry Levi for 2-4 weeks after surgery. Well in the past I have gotten REALLY bad stomach pains + bloating after eating and then laying down sometimes. To the point that I bend over and cannot walk. I know that this is not normal and it would usually go away after about 2 mins or so but now this pain has been more frequent. It didn't hit me until this weekend that it could be related to my hernia. I have noticed my hernia feel bigger but I didn't think much of it. Well this weekend I got the horrible pain again! I finally decided to make an appointment which is tomorrow to schedule my surgery. I'm not gonna lie, I'm scared. I've never had surgery before. I'm nervous but most of all sad that I won't be able to breastfeed my son or carry him for a couple weeks. 
His smile makes me happy. It helps me feel better. His smile brightens my day... even when all I want to do is worry, stress out and cry. I just look at his smile and I can't help but smile back.

Shopping on Instagram

I just recently found out that you can shop on instagram. How? Well people open up an instagram account and post stuff they are selling. There are TONS of moms who sell their kid's outgrown clothing. So I started following a bunch of shops and made my very first IG purchase this past week. It's something for Sarah (shocker!). 
Since I need money to support my shopping addiction buy the kids summer clothing, I thought I would open up my own instagram shop and start selling all of the clothing my kids outgrow. I just sold all of Sarah's summer dresses from last year on Ebay(they were so hard to let go of!). I like Ebay to shop.. not so much to sell so I thought I woud give instagram a shot. I do still have a couple of Sarah's stuff left and a bunch of things Levi already outgrew. Most of Joshua's clothes I am saving for Levi so there won't be much of his stuff on there but you will find lots of baby boy clothing and girls too. I also have my entire maternity wardrobe that I would like to sell so you will see lots of cute maternity stuff.

Kids Fashion: Zara

I am obsessed with Zara. If I had the money (if I were rich) I would go crazy buying things for the kids. Yup the kids. I don't know why but I ALWAYS end up shopping for them. Even when they don't need clothes (which at the moment they do) I always end up finding cute stuff for them and I'd much rather buy them something than myself. Plus when I shop for myself I like to take my time. I like to try things on.  I like to do the whole -bend down and make sure nothing shows- test and all. So as I am a momma of three now it's nearly impossible to go shopping for myself. I end up one big hot sweaty mess by then end of the shopping trip and end up depressed because "nothing fit me". So I'd much rather shop for my littles because everything looks cute on them! Here are some outfits I put together using clothing from Zara for each of my three kiddos. I WISH I could buy it all! 

 
For those of you who don't know... Joshua aka Josh (he wants us to call him Josh) is my little big boy. He's turning SEVEN this year! (WHAT?!)

Sarah is my princess! She's my little girly girl. Loves pink, glitter and polka dots. She just turned FOUR last Saturday. 

Levi is my baby. He's only three months now but wearing SIX month clothing. He's my little chunky monkey. 

So I totalled up everything pictured above and it came out to: $656.70  Tha'ts without tax....I love you Zara but I can't afford you! Now I know that H&M has some similar styles for much cheaper and I am DYING to go but I'd rather not at the moment because we would probably go broke and end up with no money for groceries (seriously!). That and my husband wouldn't speak to me for a week lol. So I will patiently wait until I save up some money to get some super cute stuff for the kiddos for this summer. 
Speaking of clothing.... I am thinking about opening up an Instagram shop to sell my kids outgrown clothing and ALL of my maternity stuff too. Would ya'll be interested? If so I'll post more info on another post...

The Land Of Nod Sheets Review

   A couple weeks ago I wrote THIS POST to update ya'll on the golden polka dotted sheets I had purchased from Land of Nod for the shared nursery.  Well The Land of Nod replied to that blog post...

Their customer service is seriously AWESOME! A couple weeks after this comment was left, I received these goodies in the mail...

I'm so happy The Land of Nod gave me a second chance to try out their products because I seriously was very dissapointed with the other sheets and thought they would all be the same. If you read my other post then you remember the other sheets faded after a couple washes and not only that they were also super thin + stiff. So honestly I didn't expect these new sheets to be any different.

Well I finally got to washing these sheets last week and they did not fade. They're color is just as bright as before washing so that's a plus. These sheets are also nicer than the other ones. They're not thin and stiff but not super soft either. So... Would I buy from The Land of Nod again? Probably. Why? The Land of Nod has the cutest bedding designs I've seen for kids and I did LOTS of browsing around looking for just the right bedding for the shared nursery. Although I'm not one to splurge I immediatley fell in LOVE with their bedding and I saved up just to buy both the crib bedding and the sheets for Sarah's bed. The Land of Nod is one of the only places I found where you can get matching bedding for both a crib + bed. Perfect for shared nurseries! So if you are looking for some cute bedding for your kiddos or if you're decorating a shared nursery I recommend you look through The Land of Nod's bedding.  

Thank you Land of Nod for allowing me to give your products a second chance! I am VERY happy with my new sheets!

Sarah's fourth birthday

My little princess turned four on Saturday. I took these pictures Saturday morning (the day of her birthday) before heading to church. Instead of a party this year we let her choose a place where she wanted to go eat and pick out a toy she's been wanting. Sarah chose Cracker Barrel because she loves pancakes and a leap pad. She had a great birthday weekend! She was all smiles...

Sarah has such a sweet personality. She will smile and get all excited over the littlest of things. She loves to dress up and the cutest thing of all is after getting dressed she likes to go show her daddy so that he can tell her "Que Bonita" (How Pretty in spanish). I am so thankful for my daughter! Although she has her moments (being dramatic is a girl thing) she is overall sweet + caring. I love my mini me and I love that she calls me her "best friend." Happy Birthday Princess! May God give you MANY more years and may you ALWAYS remain in his ways. 

My Little Drooler

   Levi turned three months on Sunday and I haven't had the time to do a picture update with his stats and all just yet but I REALLY wanted to share these pictures with you. My little boy is officially drooling. I had forgotten how much babies drool! I had purchased these super cute bibs from one of my favorite etsy shops: Kribbe  when I was pregnant with Levi and we busted them out recently because he soaks up whatever cute outfit he's wearing with drool. No worries though because these bibs are just as cute, if not cuter...

I seem to have forgotten everything! So my question is when do babies start teething?  When did your kiddos get their first tooth? I can't seem to remember but I keep thinking three months is a little too soon? Linking Up..

Our words are so powerful they can ruin someone's day! Our words have so much impact that you can either build someone up down or tear them down. I know I've done it in the past where my words have not been kind and I don't want to do that anymore. I want my words to encourage others. Here are three questions to ask yourself before speaking, especially when you're angry or upset...

Is this true?
Is it kind?
Is it necessary?

Why I'm Not Offering Sponsorship Anymore

 You guys probably didn't even notice until now but my sponsor section over on my sidebar sort of dissapeared. There's a couple reasons but mostly it comes down to.... 
"Ain't Nobody Got Time For That!"
LOL that's my favorite phrase at the moment (Thanks Youtube!). I tell it to my husband all the time and surprisingly he laughs everytime but I suspect it's getting old... Anyways I just don't have time to keep up with it, promote it and what not and frankly I suck at it. I wish I was awesome at promoting my sponsors you know on facebook and twitter and all of that but I'm not. I never even got the hang of twitter! Don't even get me started on that. So for now I am not offering any sponsorship spaces on my sidebar. Things may change in the future and I might be willing to try sponsorship once again but for now I'm taking a break. That's another reason why I haven't re-opened my etsy shop. I don't want to overwhelm myself with blog stuff because I do have an infant to take care of and you all know how fast babies grow!
Also I finally joined Bloglovin, I still have to add a little button for it up on my sidebar but if you want to follow me through bloglovin you can do so here. I can't believe it took me so long to join, It's so much easier to keep up with my favorite blogs rather than google reader. I already downloaded the app on my phone and transferred over my google reader blogs... all 601 of them! SERIOUSLY!

WSW - Vintage Florals

WARNING: Today's post is picture overload. I had so much fun taking pictures of my little fashionista yesterday. She was in a picture taking mood. I found this super cute vintage dress last week at a children's consignment store and immediatley fell in love. It's the perfect spring dress. Sarah didn't like it at first because it's mostly blue and she's all into pink, sparkles and tutus at the moment but once I put the necklace on she loved it...

Even when she's in the picture taking mood I like bribe my child just to keep her happy and willing to take more pictures (don't judge, you know you do it too!) These last three pictures was taken after I said "Smile...remember you're getting a prize!"...

Oh I love my little girl!! I don't want her to grow up!
