I wasn't planning on updating and blogging so soon about our process. Our home went on the marketjust last week and as of yesterday it went under contract. CRAZY! We had a bunch of showings on Saturday and then received multiple offers that night. We were beyond excited and thrilled! We are currently in the option period. Our buyer is getting our home inspected tomorrow and then they decide whether they want to go through with the contract or not. We also signed the contract for the home we are purchasing but it's contingent on the sale of our home so we are praying so much for the whole process. It is long, it is stressful, but I know it will all be worth it in the end.
It's been stressfully busy around here lately to say the least. I am excited, nervous, anxious, and overall in shock that we will be moving. I mean I don't think it will fully sink in until it's finalized. However being the worry wart that I am, I constantly think about all of the things that could go wrong. This waiting period is the worst and then I opened up my bible app today and found this:
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 NIV)
Yes that is right! God is in control of EVERYTHING and although I may not be deserve his love and grace and I doubt Him countless of times, he has ALWAYS been there for us. He hasn't always answered the way we have wanted him to and that is okay (it's better that way) because He knows what is best for us and if it is His will for us to get this home, he will make a way and if it's not that is okay too. I am letting go and letting God.
